DR. AMIR AHMADIYAR, D.C.
Dr. Amir Ahmadiyar completed his graduate studies in chiropractic in Toronto, Canada in 1991 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, upon which he joined his family in the United States and started practicing chiropractic in New Jersey. In 1992, Dr. Ahmadiyar relocated from New Jersey to Northern Virginia and within a short time established his own clinic in Falls Church, Virginia. His first clinic was The Greater Falls Church Chiropractic & Acupuncture Wellness Center where he was both owner and primary Chiropractor for nearly 30 years. Dr. Amir has medically integrated that office into Ascent Integrated Medicine.
In 1999, Dr. Ahmadiyar received his Acupuncture license from New York Chiropractic College and has since successfully integrated acupuncture into his approach to treating the whole person. Dr. Ahmadiyar also utilizes physical therapy and massage for his patients. Dr. Ahmadiyar successfully treats pain and injuries due to automobile and work related accidents, as well as personal injuries. Patients benefit from the on-site radiology facilities that allow for immediate X-ray results. He also provides infra red computerized scanning and surface electromyography that offers more detailed and objective findings during examination.
His patients frequently comment on his friendliness and ability to put patients at ease. Dr. Ahmadiyar believes in directly following up with his patients, especially after their initial visit, to ensure they feel comfortable with the treatment received and to answer any questions they may have. Dr. Ahmadiyar has acquired a very workable Spanish which is often put to good use! Dr. Ahmadiyar truly looks forward every day coming to work, knowing that he is making a positive difference in the quality of life of every patient. He is committed in promoting optimal health and well being of patients.
Dr. Ahmadiyar is married with three daughters, and has been able to treat all three daughters from the earliest of ages with both chiropractic and acupuncture, which has often saved additional visits to the pediatrician. During his free time, Dr. Ahmadiyar enjoys swimming, gardening, hunting and fishing when he finds the time!
